Where we need your help

The Senior Designer role is an exciting opportunity to help support the design and delivery of an ambitious product pipeline, where you will bring ideas to life. You will work closely with the Product Development (PD) team to deliver beautiful, sustainable, quality products, on time and at a competitive price. You will champion the customer at every point of the product journey; with senior thinking, pace, passion, and team spirit.

Your role will span the design across categories, materials, and suppliers. From our famed Vermeil to fine 14k solid gold jewellery, semi-precious gemstones, pearls, and Lab Grown Diamonds, leather, packaging, and other small categories. No one day will be the same.

This role has a requirement to travel to Norfolk 2-3 days per week, to work with the team at our picturesque Holkham office and remote working for part of the week. London office also available instead of remote where suits.

What you’ll do

Role Purpose

The Senior Jewellery Designer plays a vital role in concepting, creating, crafting, and executing design ideas within our MV Brand identity. You will be an individual contributor within a high-performing team ensuring our designs are convertible, innovative, exciting, wearable, and relevant and meet our exacting standards for quality, cost, sustainability, and compliance.

Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, you will balance granular technical detail with strategic, creative thinking to drive a consistent, innovative product pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Creative:

  • Founder led mentorship: You will have the amazing opportunity to work closely with our Artistic Director and Founder on a mentorship scheme to ensure you are fully onboarded into the DNA of the brand and our design values. You will be responsible for optimising this unique opportunity and building this wealth of knowledge into your designs.
  • Concepts & ideation: You will be working collaboratively with the Director of Design, Artistic Director and Founder, and Design team to initiate and drive exciting, new creative concepts based on authentic inspiration, innovation, trends, and commercial opportunities.
  • Creative collaboration: You will show creative curiosity and collaboration through spontaneous exploration, clear verbal and visual articulation of your ideas, and be open and responsive to direct design feedback.
  • Moodboards & materials: Responsible for collating and presenting cohesive inspirational imagery and materials, both digitally and physically, to support each design direction and help to guide Brand content.
  • Design exploration: Responsible for confidently presenting multiple design ideas following an initial brief or concept. Utilising a mix of mediums to present your ideas effectively; sketching, renders, modelled waxes, clays, 3D prints, to help bring the designs to life and finesse the designs accurately before briefing a supplier.
  • Design sessions: You will own the weekly design sessions, driving the agenda to optimise key milestones and development timings. Collaborating with the team to ensure the right materials are available and proposals are clearly presented.
  • Trends & Aesthetic Benchmarking: Responsible for keeping on the pulse of market trends to help lead on design opportunities and ensure our designs always remain authentic.
  • To-scale design sheets: Using Adobe Illustrator or CAD, translate design ideas into detailed, to scale technical specifications, providing expert guidance on construction methods, stone settings, and componentry.
  • Critical path: Responsible for delivering your design ideas within a tight timeframe and managing multiple design projects in parallel to achieve an ambitious product plan.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
