Senior KDB+ Data Engineer
Location: London Financial District area
Hybrid: 3 days onsite/2 days WFH
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain KDB+/q-based data solutions supporting CCAR, financial analytics, and enterprise data requirements.
- Build q scripts, queries, and data processes for loading, transforming, querying, and distributing large datasets.
- Perform data onboarding, validation, cleansing, transformation, and quality checks within the KDB+ environment.
- Work closely with business and technical users to understand data requirements and deliver efficient analytical solutions.
- Support reporting, analytics, and downstream data distribution, including end-to-end data flows and integration with applications.
- Strong experience with KDB+, q programming, SQL, and data analysis, with exposure to Python or Java preferred.
- Work with large-scale time-series and financial data in Linux/Unix environments, with financial services or market data experience preferred.
