We’re Hiring | Senior KDB Developer – London
Are you an experienced KDB+/q Developer with a strong background in financial markets and high-performance data systems? We’re looking for a Senior KDB Developer to join a London-based technology team.
📍 Location: London, UK
💼 Experience: 8+ years
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid
🔑 Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with KDB+ and q
- Solid experience developing and optimising high-performance, low-latency applications
- Strong SQL / time-series data experience
- Experience working with large-scale financial/market data
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data ingestion, and real-time data processing
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills
- Strong experience within Investment Banking / Financial Markets / Trading environments

Get help with your application

- Design, develop, and maintain KDB+/q applications
- Build and optimise real-time and historical data solutions
- Work with large volumes of financial and market data
- Develop data pipelines and support data ingestion processes
- Optimise system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with traders, quants, analysts, and other technology teams
- Contribute to architecture, design, and technical improvements
