Senior KDB+/Q Developer
£950/day | Inside IR35
12-month contract (potential extension)
Hybrid - 3 days onsite - London
I'm working on a long-term contract opportunity for a highly experienced KDB+/Q Developer to join a large financial services organisation. They're looking for someone operating at a genuinely senior level, with deep hands-on KDB/Q expertise and experience taking technical ownership of complex, business-critical platforms.
You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders, contribute to solution design and delivery, and provide technical direction across the wider team.

- Extensive commercial KDB+/Q experience
- Deep knowledge of complex KDB environments
- Experience designing, building, and evolving KDB platforms
- Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge
- Previous technical leadership or architecture experience
- Background within capital markets or investment banking
- Comfortable working directly with senior business stakeholders
