Hours: 37 hours per week

The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Senior Key Account and Business Growth Manager.
This role involves working in Business Doncaster, within the Council's Economic Development unit, to lead Business Doncaster’s approach to key account management and business support.
Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of local and regional initiatives that encourage economic growth, including the delivery of grant funding and business support programmes. The post holder will work closely with business leaders, investors, business support partners and funding organisations to ensure that Doncaster is a great place to invest and do business. The post holder should have significant experience of working with businesses and delivering outcomes related to business support and economic development, along with experience of managing and motivating staff, budgets and performance management and monitoring. Key to the delivery of the role is excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The post holder should also be flexible and responsive, working to the needs of the service at all times.
