The Opportunity
Delight to be supporting a global furniture business with an established international footprint and a long-standing reputation for designing, developing, sourcing and delivering furniture for leading retail customers.
Following significant investment and the appointment of new leadership, the UK business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. As a result, they are looking to appoint a Senior Key Account Manager to play a pivotal role in developing key customer relationships, driving growth and shaping the future commercial direction of the business.
The Role
Reporting into the UK commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key retail accounts, creating long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with customers and internal teams across product development, sourcing, operations and supply chain to ensure successful delivery and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading relationships with key retail customers
- Developing and executing strategic account plans
- Identifying opportunities for growth, range expansion and improved profitability
- Negotiating commercial agreements and annual plans
- Working cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer delivery
- Providing market insight and customer intelligence
- Supporting the continued development of a high-performing commercial function
The Person
We are looking for an experienced commercial professional with a genuine passion for furniture and a strong understanding of the retail landscape.

You may currently be working in:
- Key Account Management
- National Account Management
- Buying
- Category Management
- Commercial or Product Management
Most importantly, you will have experience (and passion!) within furniture, home furnishings, interiors or closely related product categories and understand what drives success with major retail customers.
- Experience managing and growing significant retail accounts
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- The ability to build credibility with customers at all levels
- A customer-first mindset combined with commercial rigour
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability
- The confidence to operate in a fast-paced and evolving environment
