Senior Key Account Manager

London | Hybrid

£70,000-80,000 + Bonus, Pension & Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join a leading organisation within the consumer retail sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Senior Key Account Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of major high street retail accounts. You will build strategic customer partnerships, identify commercial opportunities, and deliver sustainable growth within a fast-paced, branded environment.

The role

As Senior Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop relationships with key high street retail partners
  • Create and deliver customer strategies, joint business plans, and annual account plans
  • Take ownership of sales, revenue, profitability, and overall account performance
  • Identify opportunities to increase distribution, visibility, and market share
  • Lead commercial negotiations and agree mutually beneficial trading terms
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, and other internal teams
  • Use customer, category, and market insights to inform commercial decisions
  • Monitor performance, produce accurate forecasts, and manage budgets effectively
  • Represent the business confidently in senior-level customer meetings

About you

The ideal Senior Key Account Manager will have:

  • Significant account management experience within retail, consumer goods, or a related branded environment
  • A strong track record of managing major national or high street retail accounts
  • Excellent commercial judgment and negotiation skills
  • Experience creating and delivering strategic customer plans
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial management capabilities
  • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • A collaborative, proactive, and results-focused approach
  • The ability to succeed in a fast-moving, branded environment
