Senior Key Account Manager - Health & Nutrition

The Role

Strategic commercial leadership role focused on driving revenue, margin growth, and account expansion across a portfolio of strategic health and nutrition customers. The role combines existing account management, pipeline development, and targeted new business acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic accounts, developing multi-year growth plans.
  • Build senior relationships across innovation, procurement, regulatory, and marketing.
  • Protect and expand existing revenue through cross-selling and new opportunities.
  • Identify new ingredient opportunities and engage early in customer formulation cycles.
  • Develop and execute target-account strategies to win new customers.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales processes and coordinate R&D, regulatory, quality, and marketing support.
  • Maintain pricing discipline, accurate forecasting, and CRM activity.
  • Deliver revenue and margin targets.

Ideal Background

  • 7–12+ years’ B2B sales experience in nutraceuticals, specialty ingredients, or health-related products.
  • Proven experience managing $5M+ strategic account portfolios.
  • Experience selling to DTC, practitioner, MLM, or CPG brands strongly preferred.
  • Strong scientific and regulatory understanding.
  • Comfortable managing complex, long sales cycles and executive-level relationships.
  • Strategic account manager who can both grow existing business and win new logos.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.
