ABOUT THIS ROLE
Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce, you’ll be pivotal in leading and executing the Amazon UK&I strategy. The primary purpose of the Senior Key Accounts Manager Amazon is to grow and develop the Amazon channel through developing robust sales strategies, delivering optimized ROI from brand investment and grow market share within clearly defined key performance indicators.
As an experienced Senior National Account Manager, you will hold significant status within the Key accounts channel, leading by example to execute with excellence and deliver best in class examples as a flagship market to ultimately deliver revenue sales.
You will take ownership of managing the brand strategies within Amazon with a constant growth mindset, with a customer that is constantly evolving. You will also take the lead on additional commercial responsibilities to develop your role as a leader within the wider global Amazon team.
LOCATION
This role will be based in our London (Soho) office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the key point of contact with Amazon Retail/category and Advertising teams, building strong relationships across functions.
- Full Client management of ghd’s advertising agency, setting clear KPIs with weekly reviews on performance.
- Plan, deliver, agree, and execute a Joint Business Plan with clear contingency plans to deliver to business requirements.
- Negotiate AVS VIP and manage our ‘Full’ AVS’s performance to own internal metrics.
- Be a key stakeholder in retailer terms negotiation.
- Identify business opportunities and work in conjunction with the marketing team to execute the ghd brand to perfection (PDPs, Brand stores and advertising content).
- Support in defining total Channel budgets, targets, and strategy for Amazon according to annual targets, market, trends, launches/promotions & competitors’ activities.
- Own the day-to-day forecasting and stock management (S&OP) for Amazon.
- Successfully manage the channel GTN and investment mix including deal planning, terms, AMS budgeting.
- Collate consistent and accurate data and statistics working with the wider teams internally and externally across all our locations to ensure an efficient process.
- Prepare reports, presentations, management information and correspondence on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Report on all relevant competitor sales and marketing activity.
- Uphold the exacting standards of integrity for both the brand and the company in all areas of operation of the sales function.
- Work closely with the UK Credit control team, taking responsibility for managing account debt levels and shortages within set criteria and sharing results with senior management.
- Own the individual order, logistical & commercial critical paths for Amazon.
- Ensure ghd SKU information is to date and manage vendor central.
- Drive a 360 approach with Amazon with a forward-thinking mindset to business model opportunities (Hybrid, Seller, Vendor) and Advertising development (3+ year strategy).
- Role model and champion the 5Cs framework, be Collaborative, Creative, Courageous, Connected, Committed.

REQUIREMENTS & KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Proven account management experience specifically negotiating with senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record in sales and performance marketing.
- Excellent presentation skills with attention to detail for creating sound commercial arguments.
- Be sales driven and commercially aware of the beauty/ fashion market and trends.
- Instinctive commercial flair to drive decisions that improve KPIs and performance.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability, can give examples of taking measured risks to achieve results.
- Enthusiastic, energetic outgoing, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, determined to win and a passion for customers and all things digital.
- Act with transparency and integrity.
- Create a climate of inclusion and diversity.
- Actively live and breathe the ghd brand.
- UK based with the ability to travel to UK/ROI without restrictions.
