Salary: £41,177 - £43,149 per annum
Hours per week: 37 hours
Temporary/Fixed term: Until 31st March 2028

Our kinship and fostering service is looking for a Senior Kinship Support Worker. The Service recruits, assesses, and supports foster carers and kinship carers, helping children live in safe, stable family-based homes and achieve positive outcomes.
The Senior Kinship Support Worker will support complex kinship families to achieve positive outcomes while providing supervision, guidance, and development support to Kinship Support Workers. The role involves managing high-need cases, leading assessments and family support plans, working closely with schools and partner agencies, monitoring performance and quality, safeguarding children, and helping ensure families receive timely and effective support.

Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant qualifications or significant experience supporting vulnerable children and families
- Strong knowledge of kinship care, safeguarding, and child development
- Skilled in assessment, family support, multi-agency working, and delivering positive outcomes
- Excellent communication, decision-making, IT, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
