Job Opportunity: Backend Engineer
My client is building a new digital banking platform inside one of the world’s largest financial institutions, following the successful launch of a major consumer banking product.
The team operates more like a fintech than a traditional bank, building cloud-native products from the ground up with Java/Kotlin, modern architecture, and a strong product engineering culture.
What you’ll do:
- Build scalable backend services in Kotlin
- Design resilient systems with no single points of failure
- Use domain modelling to shape new banking products
- Build secure, highly available APIs and distributed systems
- Own problems from design through to production
