The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments and an established pipeline across the region.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for identifying, evaluating, negotiating and securing new residential development opportunities.
- Identify and secure immediate and strategic land opportunities across the North West.
- Develop strong relationships with landowners, agents, local authorities, consultants and other key stakeholders to generate both marketed and off-market opportunities.
- Lead site assessments, development appraisals and viability reviews.
- Negotiate Heads of Terms, option agreements and land acquisitions through to exchange and completion.
- Work collaboratively with Planning, Technical, Commercial and Sales teams to assess opportunities and formulate acquisition strategies.
- Develop effective relationships with local authorities and potential development partners to identify and progress opportunities.
- Present opportunities and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
- Monitor the regional land market, emerging opportunities and competitor activity.
- Help shape and maintain a strong land pipeline to support the business's longer-term growth plans.

About You
You will be an experienced residential land professional with a strong understanding of the North West market and a demonstrable track record of identifying and securing development opportunities.
- You may already be operating as a Senior Land Manager, or be an ambitious individual ready to take the next step in your career.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term relationships will be essential, alongside a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Experience of working with local authorities and/or delivering land opportunities through partnership arrangements would be particularly advantageous.
