Blue Diamond Recruitment are proud to be working exclusively on a rare and exciting opportunity which has arisen for an experienced Senior / Land Manager to join a high quality and established house builder in the East Midlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and securing land opportunities that meet the business needs for the Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification and acquisition of immediate land opportunities, both on and off market, to meet annual targets.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive network of relevant contacts, particularly across the patch (Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, parts on Lincolnshire and Warwickshire).
  • Progressing deals following offer acceptance, including liaison with internal and external parties, such as solicitors, through to exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience of land acquisition, preferably gained within a house builder.
  • Conversant with land appraisal systems, budgets and associated financial information.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters relating to the land acquisition process.
