Department: Asbestos
Location: Firmwide
Compensation: £57,679 / year
Description
We’re currently looking for qualified solicitors to expand our highly respected award-winning Asbestos team, across our branch network. We act on behalf of clients affected by asbestos-related diseases such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, and pleural thickening, helping them and their families secure justice and support during incredibly difficult times.
Key Responsibilities
- Working alongside our Head of Asbestos, with over 25 years asbestos litigation experience, you’ll manage a high-value Multi Track caseload, handling all aspects of litigation from initial instruction through to trial, including complex cases issued in the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
- As a senior lawyer within the team, you’ll also contribute to maintaining best practice by supervising and supporting colleagues on technical and procedural matters. This includes offering guidance on case strategy and ensuring quality and consistency in client care and case handling.
- While the role doesn’t involve formal line management, your expertise will play a key role in developing others and being a part of a collaborative team culture.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
