Cyber, Privacy & Resilience Legal Counsel (VP Level)
Glasgow | Hybrid Working
A leading global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its specialist Cyber, Privacy & Resilience Legal team.
This is a rare opportunity to advise on some of the most significant and evolving regulatory issues affecting businesses today, including cybersecurity, operational resilience, data protection, privacy, fraud and emerging technologies.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across an international business, you will provide strategic legal advice on complex regulatory matters, support major business initiatives, and play a key role in responding to cyber and operational resilience incidents.

Key Responsibilities
- Advising on cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, fraud and operational resilience matters across EMEA.
- Providing guidance on UK and European regulatory developments, including DORA, NIS2, GDPR and related legislation.
- Supporting incident response and regulatory notification processes.
- Advising on data transfers, localisation requirements, information sharing and privacy rights.
- Partnering with business and risk teams on strategic projects and emerging technologies.
- Managing regulatory inquiries, investigations and information requests.
About You
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 7+ years' PQE.
- Strong knowledge of data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and operational resilience frameworks.
- Experience gained in private practice, financial services or another regulated environment.
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Able to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical business advice.
