Application Deadline: 21 September 2026 Department: Employment Rights Location: Birmingham Compensation: £56,515 - £67,867 / year

Description

We are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join our well-established and highly respected Employment Rights team, based across the firm. If you’re an experienced solicitor, barrister, or Legal Executive looking to take on challenging and rewarding work, we are waiting to hear from you.

The role

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a variety of large and complex employment rights cases, using your judgment and expertise to make daily decisions that significantly impact the cases you handle. You will also undertake advocacy in the Employment Tribunal (ET) at the case management stage. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll provide support to other team members, while also offering supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
