Senior Learning & Development Adviser

Glasgow/Edinburgh | Hybrid

Full Time | Permanent

£40,000 - £45,000 + benefits

We’re working with an established professional services business who are looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to join its team in a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders and partners across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Learning & Professional Development, you’ll combine learning design and delivery with a strong interest in technology, helping shape how people learn, develop and work.

You’ll Have a Broad Remit Spanning

  • Designing and delivering engaging learning for individuals and groups, both virtually and in person.
  • Leading Microsoft 365 and business applications training, including supporting new system rollouts.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify development needs and turn these into practical learning solutions.
  • Creating learning materials and e-learning content, with Articulate Rise experience a bonus.
  • Supporting trainee development, wider employee programmes and professional accreditation/CPD.
  • Using the LMS to coordinate and track learning activity.
  • Exploring how AI and emerging technology can improve learning and productivity.
  • Supporting and mentoring a developing member of the L&D team.

You’ll Bring

  • Strong learning design and facilitation experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 and applications knowledge.
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in technology, AI and new ways of learning.
  • The ability to engage a room, influence others and handle challenging participants.
  • Strong organisation skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.
  • LMS experience is advantageous; Articulate Rise is desirable but not essential.

A genuinely varied opportunity with scope to shape learning across the organisation, influence senior stakeholders and take on broader responsibility as the function evolves.
