Job Description
Position: Senior Lead, AI Enablement for Lawyers (London)
Department: Legal Technology & Enablement
Based at: 110 Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1AY
Reports to: Senior Manager, AI Acceleration & Lawyer Enablement
Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, AI Acceleration & Lawyer Enablement, based in the London office, the person in this role will be a senior leader within a newly formed, high-visibility department within the Legal Technology & Enablement team. This is a role for someone energized by legal innovation and passionate about transforming how lawyers work — not merely deploying tools, but driving genuine, lasting adoption for the London office.
Based in London, you will act as the on-the-ground lead for AI enablement in the region. You will be working closely with the Senior Manager, AI Acceleration & Lawyer Enablement and the Senior Director, Technology Strategy & Enablement, while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
You will own key stakeholder relationships across your region, motivating and aligning counsel, associates and practice managers around the firm’s technology strategy. Although this role allows for remote working, you will be expected to attend the London office and to travel to other offices in Europe, as required.
Primary Objectives
In partnership with the Senior Manager and the broader AI Enablement team, you will advance the firm’s core objectives for the London office:
- Lead the delivery of a global, lawyer-facing AI Enablement programme.
- Provide lawyers in your region with the foundational skills needed to practise law responsibly with AI and other legal technology tools to complete day-to-day tasks more efficiently and to innovate new ways of working.
- Drive measurable incorporation of AI and legal technology into the practice of law by leading change management programmes that move lawyers from awareness to confident, habitual use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (LASER, Professional Development, Training) to align on and accelerate technology adoption objectives across your region.
- Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for AI enablement matters, ensuring the region’s leadership has clear visibility of their office’s progress and risks.
- Track and interpret adoption analytics across the lawyer cohort to measure the effectiveness of enablement activity and direct effort where it is most needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
