💰 Salary – £30–50k, depending on experience and level
📍 Location – Leeds

One role. Quite a broad brief. And deliberately so.

We’re at the early stages of a search for a really good conceptual designer to join a creative agency working across brand activation, shopper, retail and brand experience.

We’ll have more detail on the exact shape of the role very soon, but we know the kind of person we’re looking for — and we’d rather get ahead and start talking to great creatives now.

You might be a Senior Designer ready for more creative ownership, or already operating closer to Lead Designer level. That’s also why the salary range is fairly broad at £30–50k.

Ultimately, this is about finding someone who can come up with strong ideas and turn them into brilliant creative work.

What We Know So Far

You’ll be someone who can:
🎨 Come up with the idea – Not just make somebody else’s concept look lovely. You can take a brief, find the creative thought and bring it to life.
🛍️ Think shopper and retail – You understand that creative has to work in the real world, whether that’s POS, retail environments, displays, activations or wider brand experiences.
💡 Think conceptually – You’re comfortable exploring different routes, developing ideas and turning them into strong visual solutions.
✏️ Craft the work – You’ve still got the design chops to take an idea forward and make it look brilliant.
🤝 Work collaboratively – You’re comfortable bouncing ideas around with other creatives, account teams and wider agency specialists.
🚀 Own more if you’re more senior – At the top end of the range, we’ll be looking for someone who can lead the creative thinking on briefs, confidently present ideas and help raise the standard of the work around them.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
