Job Opportunity: Senior / Lead Recruiter
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior / Lead Recruiter based in United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced recruiter who will play a central role in building high-performing teams across Europe. You will own end-to-end recruitment for priority and mission-critical positions, partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders. The role combines proactive sourcing, talent mapping, structured assessment, stakeholder advisory, and candidate closing. Beyond filling individual positions, you will use market intelligence and recruiting data to strengthen hiring strategies and improve overall recruitment outcomes. You will have significant autonomy to shape processes, challenge assumptions, and introduce more effective ways of working. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys making a measurable impact on organizational growth.
Accountabilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for priority and mission-critical roles across European markets.
- Build proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, market mapping, referrals, targeted outreach, and other strategic sourcing methods.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand hiring priorities and translate business needs into effective search strategies.
- Define role outcomes, competencies, candidate scorecards, and structured interview processes.
- Assess candidates rigorously and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to hiring stakeholders.
- Manage the complete candidate journey from initial conversation through offer, negotiation, and close.
- Use recruiting data and market intelligence to identify opportunities to improve pipeline quality, conversion rates, and hiring outcomes.
- Lead senior and confidential searches when required.
- Advise stakeholders on talent availability, market conditions, candidate expectations, and sourcing strategies.
- Contribute to improving recruitment processes, tools, methodologies, and ways of working as the organization scales.

Requirements
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, including personally sourcing, assessing, and closing hard-to-find talent.
- Experience recruiting within complex, fast-moving, or highly competitive environments.
- Proven track record in proactive sourcing, talent mapping, and building high-quality candidate pipelines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise, influence, and challenge hiring managers and senior leaders when appropriate.
- Experience using structured, evidence-based interviewing and candidate assessment methodologies.
- Strong candidate management, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment, pipeline management, and hiring performance.
- High level of ownership, sound judgment, and ability to make effective decisions independently.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, changing priorities, and a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience recruiting across multiple European markets is a plus.
- Experience within defence, aerospace, autonomy, robotics, deep tech, or another highly technical industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with WHO methodology, MOCs, scorecards, or comparable structured hiring frameworks is a plus.
