Senior Software Lead / Hands-On Tech Lead | Consumer Wearables & Connected Hardware
Fully Remote (UK / Global Flexible)
£85,000 – £100,000 + Meaningful Equity
Are you an ambitious, hands-on Senior Developer or Technical Lead who loves getting into the code and connecting mobile software with physical hardware? We are partnering with a high-growth, globally distributed consumer technology scale-up (100+ team across UK, EU, Aus, and Asia) operating at the intersection of science, health, and human performance.
This is not a high-level managerial or corporate management role. They are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Lead who is passionate about coding, architecture, and execution day-to-day. As the company and app scale, your scope and responsibilities will grow organically alongside it.
The Opportunity
Working directly alongside the founders, head of product, head of science, and hardware teams, you will be the driving technical force behind their mobile platform. Competitors are accelerating their app offerings, and this business needs a hungry, execution-focused lead to step in, write great code, speed up product development, and integrate software seamlessly with physical devices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
