Sr. Manager, AWS Partners

Role Summary
Reporting to the UKI Partner business Leader, this role is responsible for the management of all AWS Partner Network Consulting Partners headquartered in UK and Ireland (UKI) and the support of non-headquartered partners expanding and operating in UKI. Day to day responsibility for all partner management and recruitment. This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Partner success team leader, and Partner core team leader and sales teams. This individual must be results driven with proven experience in partner management and developing a network of partners with capability and high-quality delivery. The successful candidate must be a proven leader, and will draw upon experience in account management, practice development, go-to-market solution positioning, relationship building, and working in both a direct and matrix operating structure. The individual must have deep experience in managing a broadest of partners from early stage cloud native, traditional large system integrators, value added resellers, and specialist providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a partner sales target delivered through a broad set of AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting within the UKI, through a partner originated sales motions.
- Lead a team of partner development managers that are responsible for the recruitment, build, and go-to-market success of their APN Partners.
- Represent AWS and participate in industry and partner events to deliver thought leadership on how AWS partners.
- Own the development and execution of the partner development strategy across SI, MSP, and VAR for UKI, in conjunction with the partner success team leader and the growth priorities of the Area.
- As the voice of the partner, engage with AWS partner success and partner core team leaders to support the growth of the partner with the AWS field and the development of new capability and services with the partner core teams and AWS service teams.
- Manage and develop multiple partner C-level relationships across a wide range of key partners within the UKI and establish the partner management team as the single point of contact for management and growth globally.
- Drive efficiencies and operational improvements across the partner management function and be an active voice for change and improvement to the partner core teams.
- Manage the operational cadence of business reviews (MBR, QBR) with key partners in UKI.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience building and leading large teams and have worked in matrixed operating structures
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
- Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking
- Experience working with Business Application Technologies, including, but not limited to End User Compute (EUC), Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, Consumer Data Applications, Encrypted Communications, and/or Communication Developer Services
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Global Financial Services Industry
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Automotive & Manufacturing industries
- Experience solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries
- Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
- Experience working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT.
- Experience working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage
