An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Senior Team Leadership Team Personal Assistant (PA) & Admin Team Leader for North Division, offered as either a 13-month secondment or fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

This is a key role providing professional executive support to the Senior Leadership Team whilst leading and developing a team of administrative staff. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing competing priorities, coordinating workloads and ensuring the delivery of an effective, high-quality administrative support service.

  • Key Requirements:
    • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and meet demanding deadlines
    • Experience of developing and maintaining administrative and office systems
    • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and adapt processes to meet changing business needs

As a Team Leader, you will demonstrate confidence, tact and diplomacy when dealing with highly confidential, personal and operationally sensitive matters. You will be capable of motivating and supporting staff, managing performance and maintaining high standards of customer service. Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, executive support or similar administrative role would be advantageous.

  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
    • Good standard of education, including English language
    • Excellent written communication skills, grammar and attention to detail
    • Strong understanding of office procedures and experience of working in a busy administrative environment
    • High level of IT competence, including the effective use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
    • Experience of maintaining records and management information systems
    • Previous supervisory or line management experience would be desirable

Your primary working location will be based at Medway Police Station with expectations to travel stations throughout North Division and Force Headquarters.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £37,056.00.
