About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a varied role with a strong focus on coordinating our global learning, development and onboarding activities, ensuring that colleagues receive a smooth, engaging and high-quality experience from the moment they join Costello Medical and throughout their career with us.

Costello Medical continues to grow across our global locations, with offices in the UK, US, Canada, Singapore, China and, most recently, Australia. Our L&D and onboarding processes play an important role in helping colleagues feel welcomed, supported and set up to succeed. You will work closely with colleagues across People, Operations and our wider business functions to ensure the successful delivery of induction sessions, internal training programmes, external training opportunities and compliance-related learning activities.

Alongside day-to-day coordination, you will also be expected to proactively identify opportunities to improve our processes. This may include refining training materials, improving communication with stakeholders, reviewing feedback from employees, and helping to ensure that our L&D practices remain scalable, efficient and aligned with the company's evolving needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating our global induction programme for new starters, including scheduling sessions, liaising with session leads and ensuring all relevant materials (such as tailored induction materials and welcome resources for new starters) are accurate, engaging and up to date
  • Acting as a key point of contact for induction and onboarding queries from the various teams who are involved in these processes, providing clear and helpful guidance to colleagues across the company
  • Creating, maintaining and updating learning and onboarding materials to ensure they reflect current processes, company priorities and stakeholder feedback
  • Coordinating internal training programmes, including operational, compliance, probation-related and career development training for all colleagues across the company
  • Supporting the administration and ongoing development of our Learning Management System, ensuring records are accurate and learning activities are tracked effectively
  • Coordinating external training requests, including researching suitable courses, arranging bookings and recording key milestones within our HR systems
  • Supporting client-required and compliance training processes, working with relevant teams to ensure training obligations are understood and completed
  • Gathering and reviewing feedback from learners and stakeholders to identify trends, highlight training needs and implement improvements
  • Proactively suggesting and implementing improvements to L&D processes, with a focus on quality, efficiency, scalability and learner experience
  • Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the business to ensure joined-up communication and effective delivery of L&D activities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Hybrid Working Policy

We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created, where people have a workplace they belong to and feel part of, is never lost. At the same time, we recognise that homeworking can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments.

Therefore, we offer flexible working arrangements that allow our colleagues who have passed probation to work from home up to half their time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During your probationary period (normally the first 6 months of the role), you will be able to work from home 1 day per week.

The Application Process

You are required to submit your CV and answer some key application form questions. In your cover letter, you must explain why you think you would be suited to the role and why you would like to join Costello Medical, with examples to support both.

Then, our recruitment process includes a telephone screening call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team, followed by an on-site interview with senior members of our People team. Our standard recruitment process lasts around 2-3 weeks, however, this can be adapted if necessary.

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce and, throughout the recruitment process, there are a number of reasonable adjustments we can provide: https://www.costellomedical.com/reasonable-adjustments/
