Help shape the next generation of creative leaders in the Fashion industry.
London College of Fashion is seeking an accomplished creative practitioner to join us as Senior Lecturer in Fashion Communication.
Based within the School of Media and Communication, you will help shape the BA (Hons) Creative Direction for Fashion course, contributing to a future-facing curriculum that responds to cultural, technological, social and environmental change.
Your teaching will explore contemporary fashion communication across physical, digital and blended environments. You might be guiding students as they develop a visual identity, interrogate the cultural impact of a campaign, experiment with creative technologies and AI, or consider how creative direction and the wider area of fashion communication can influence social and environmental change.
Through teaching, assessment, tutorials and collaborative projects, you will help students to develop distinctive creative voices, strategic confidence, cultural intelligence and a thoughtful understanding of representation, inclusion and intersectionality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
