About The Role
We are seeking to appoint a 9-month 0.5 fixed term Senior Lecturer with practice experience as a Solicitor in England and Wales to strengthen our growing LLB Programmes, particularly in our Law Clinic and Practising as a Solicitor module. We are looking for Solicitor with practice experience in any of the following:
- Family Law
- Employment Law
- Business or Consumer Law
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Working with an experienced and passionate team of colleagues, you will:
- Teach, assess and support students on the Law Clinic and Practicing as a Solicitor module.
- Supervise student casework and ensure appropriate oversight of client-facing activity in accordance with SRA requirements and UWE’s professional indemnity insurance provisions.
- Maintain and develop relationships with external partners including law firms, charities, community organisations, and pro bono networks.
