Senior Legal Cashier
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Unbound Talent is recruiting an experienced Senior Legal Cashier for a law firm in Oxfordshire. This position offers responsibility for accurate financial processing, regulatory compliance, and supporting colleagues within an established finance team.
The role
- Process receipts and payments, maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Complete daily bank reconciliations and reconcile control accounts.
- Keep client-account records and financial procedures compliant with SRA Accounts Rules.
- Investigate and resolve complex internal finance queries.
- Support finance managers with team coordination and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and systems.

About you
- At least four years’ relevant experience within legal finance.
- Strong practical knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules.
- Confidence using legal accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- A careful, organised approach, with the ability to prioritise deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- An ILFM Diploma would be particularly welcome; support towards the qualification may be available.
