About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Senior Legal Counsel to join our team as our first full-time in-house legal hire. This is a broad, high-impact role — but not a blank page. You will be stepping into a business that has been supported by an established fractional legal function, with solid commercial foundations, active frameworks, and a legal rhythm already embedded in the business. Your role is to take ownership of that function, deepen it, and scale it as we grow.

You will work directly with the CEO and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted adviser and enabling the business to move quickly and confidently. You will manage external counsel relationships, continue to build out the legal function for the company, and play an active role in shaping how Hypervision scales.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded lawyer who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and wants to be genuinely close to the business rather than at arm's length from it.

What You'll Do

Corporate Governance & Board Support

  • Own the company secretarial function in full, working closely with the Chair and CEO to organize board meetings, prepare board packs, draft shareholder resolutions, and manage statutory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with investment documents including the shareholders' agreement, and oversee shareholder communications and reporting.
  • Advise the board and senior management on corporate governance, directors' duties, and best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
