An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market-leading international business operating across sports, entertainment, media, marketing and talent representation.

With a global footprint spanning multiple continents and jurisdictions, the organisation partners with some of the world's leading brands, rights holders, talent and commercial partners. The business has experienced significant growth in recent years through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions, creating a dynamic and highly commercial environment for its legal team.

This is a broad and business-facing legal role with a strong emphasis on commercial contracts, stakeholder partnering and supporting strategic business initiatives.

The Role

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of matters, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Advising on consultancy, agency, partnership and services agreements
  • Supporting key revenue-generating commercial arrangements
  • Providing practical, risk-based legal advice to business stakeholders
  • Advising on employment and people-related matters where required
  • Supporting corporate transactions, acquisitions and business integration projects
  • Assisting with governance, compliance and regulatory matters
  • Managing external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
  • Collaborating with colleagues across international offices and business units

About You

We are interested in speaking with lawyers who can demonstrate:

  • 4+ years' PQE (guideline only)
  • Strong commercial contracts experience gained in private practice and/or in-house
  • Experience negotiating and managing a broad range of commercial agreements
  • Excellent commercial judgement and pragmatic approach to legal risk
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Confidence working autonomously while managing a varied workload
  • The ability to balance legal, commercial and operational considerations
  • Exposure to employment, corporate, compliance or M&A matters would be advantageous
  • Experience supporting international businesses would be beneficial
