The Role

We are looking for a senior, commercially minded lawyer to join the legal team and become a key partner to the business. This is a broad in-house role, with significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of a wide range of legal matters.

The ideal candidate will be someone the business can genuinely lean on — comfortable operating autonomously, getting close to the commercial issues, and providing practical advice in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and negotiate complex customer and supply chain agreements, including commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial technology matters, including technology procurement, SaaS, software, services, licensing, and related agreements.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory matters arising from the company's operations and growth.
  • Support the business on compliance matters, including anti-bribery and corruption, modern slavery, and broader corporate compliance.
  • Provide advice on corporate governance, including board and corporate matters.
  • Manage and develop the company's trademark and IP portfolio.
  • Partner closely with commercial, procurement, operations, technology, and business leadership teams.
  • Work alongside the business on strategic projects, new market expansion, and other matters as the company scales.
  • Help continue to build and mature the company's in-house legal infrastructure and processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
