An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced consumer and e-commerce lawyer to join a leading international consumer-facing business operating across digital platforms, live experiences and online services.
This role sits within a highly regarded legal team and offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of consumer, regulatory and digital product matters across multiple international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the customer experience, supporting product innovation and ensuring compliance with evolving consumer protection requirements.
The Role
You will provide commercial legal advice on a wide variety of consumer-facing matters, including:
- Consumer protection and e-commerce regulation
- Online terms and conditions, policies and customer communications
- Digital products, websites and mobile applications
- Marketing, promotions and advertising compliance
- Customer experience and consumer complaints processes
- Accessibility and consumer-facing regulatory requirements
- New product launches and digital initiatives
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising senior stakeholders on legal risk and regulatory strategy

This is a highly visible role requiring close collaboration with product, customer experience, commercial, marketing and operational teams across the business.
About You
We are keen to speak with lawyers who possess:
- Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
- Approximately 7-10 years' PQE
- Strong consumer law and e-commerce experience
- Experience advising businesses with large consumer customer bases
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience operating within a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment

Backgrounds of Interest
Candidates are likely to come from leading consumer technology, digital platform, travel, ticketing, entertainment, marketplace, fintech or e-commerce businesses.
Particular interest in lawyers with experience advising on online customer journeys, digital consumer products, marketplace regulation, payments, subscriptions, customer terms, marketing compliance and consumer-facing regulatory matters.
