We're working with a high-growth fintech seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its London-based legal team.

This is an opportunity to join a scaling international business where legal is viewed as a genuine partner to the organisation. Working within a small, highly visible team, you'll enjoy broad exposure across the business and work closely with senior stakeholders on a diverse range of legal and commercial matters.

The role offers a varied remit spanning:

  • Commercial and strategic customer contracts
  • Corporate transactions and financing matters
  • Governance and company secretarial work
  • Data protection and regulatory issues
  • Product development and AI-related initiatives
  • Vendor, partnership and operational agreements

One of the most attractive aspects of the opportunity is the breadth of work on offer and the ability to shape your role over time. The legal team encourages individuals to develop expertise in areas that align with their interests and strengths, providing genuine flexibility to broaden responsibilities and build experience across different areas of the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
