Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You will be a qualified solicitor or equivalent legal professional with approximately 7-12 years' post-qualification experience gained either in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both. Strong commercial contracts experience is essential, alongside the ability to confidently advise stakeholders and communicate legal concepts in a clear and practical manner.

The successful candidate will be commercially astute, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships across a business, and balancing legal risk with commercial objectives. Previous exposure to international operations, regulatory compliance, data protection, or cross-border legal matters would be advantageous, although a broader commercial legal background will also be considered. Additional language skills would be welcomed but are not essential.

  • Opportunity to work within a highly regarded international business
  • Exposure to a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and strategic legal matters
  • Significant cross-border and international legal experience
  • Direct interaction with senior leaders and key business stakeholders
  • Supportive and collaborative global legal team environment
