Senior Legal Counsel | Major International Venue Development Projects
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction, development, or projects lawyer to join the legal team of a globally recognised live entertainment business.
This is a newly created position within a growing venue development function, supporting the delivery of some of the most ambitious live entertainment infrastructure projects currently underway across Europe. Working closely with a highly regarded senior legal leader, you will play a key role across a diverse portfolio of arena developments, venue acquisitions, and refurbishment projects spanning multiple jurisdictions.
The Opportunity
You'll advise on a broad range of matters across the full lifecycle of major development projects, including:
- Arena and venue development projects
- Construction and procurement matters
- Real estate and development agreements
- Planning and zoning issues
- Public tender processes
- Contractor and development-related disputes
- Acquisition and investment projects linked to venue developments
- Cross-border legal issues across multiple European jurisdictions

A key aspect of the role will be helping establish consistent legal and commercial positions across multiple development projects, creating scalable processes and precedents as the organisation continues its significant international expansion.
About You
We are interested in lawyers with roughly 6-10 years' PQE who have developed strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Construction law
- Real estate development
- Infrastructure projects
- Planning and development matters
- Major projects work
- Development-focused M&A transactions
- Construction and development disputes
Candidates may come from either private practice or in-house environments.
The successful individual will be commercially minded, confident operating with senior stakeholders, and capable of managing complex matters with a high degree of autonomy. Experience supporting large-scale development projects from inception through to completion will be particularly valuable.
