Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial
Location: West London (Hybrid)
Salary: £80,000–£95,000
An exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer to join the in-house legal team of a large, multi-site organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth.
This is a broad and commercially focused role offering exposure to complex legal matters across a diverse business. Working closely with the Head of Legal, you will partner with senior leaders to provide pragmatic legal advice, negotiate high-value commercial agreements and play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, digital transformation and operational improvement.
The position would suit a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, influencing decision-making and acting as a trusted business partner in a fast-paced environment.

You will advise on a wide range of commercial legal matters, taking ownership of complex contractual arrangements while helping the business manage legal risk and achieve its commercial objectives.
About You
Ideally we are seeking a minimum of 3 years PQE with strong commercial contracts experience gained either in-house or in private practice. You will be confident working independently, managing competing priorities and building effective relationships across all levels of a business.
You should be able to demonstrate:
- Strong experience drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial contracts
- Excellent commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to legal risk.
- Experience supporting technology, IT or outsourcing agreements.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence advising senior executives and influencing commercial decisions.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to work across a broad range of legal matters and quickly develop knowledge in new areas where required.
