Experienced Qualified Lawyer Opportunity at Kraft Heinz

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified lawyer to make a real difference at Kraft Heinz. The purpose of the role is to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice to help protect and grow the Kraft Heinz UK and Ireland business. The role also sits within the wider Europe & Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) Regional Legal Team and from time to time may also support on EPDM Regional projects.

Main Responsibilities

The Senior Legal Counsel, UK and Ireland will be a key business partner in the Kraft Heinz UK and Ireland Business Unit and will cover a variety of areas, including:

  • General commercial contracts
  • IP & brand law
  • Competition law
  • Data protection
  • Consumer, media and advertising law
  • Regulatory/Compliance
  • Corporate Housekeeping/Company secretarial support

Skills

Qualifications

  • UK qualified with a minimum of 8+ years’ post qualification experience as a commercial lawyer (IP, Consumer law, Competition law & ASA disputes experience desirable);
  • Excellent legal education with top academic credentials and training in a leading law firm and/ or company;
  • FMCG experience is desirable;
  • Excellent legal judgment with the capacity to make decisions and give advice that reflects an understanding of overall business objectives and the risks/rewards of each situation;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong research and drafting skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a non-legal audience, both orally and in writing;
  • High curiosity with strong learning agility;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment that requires management of multiple projects simultaneously whilst also being a team player;
  • Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively in a team, manage stakeholders and influence across all levels within the organisation;
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on an as-needed basis.
