A unique opportunity for an experienced legal leader to join a global technology and advanced manufacturing organisation as Senior Legal Director, UK & Europe.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will be the most senior legal leader across the UK and European region, partnering with executive stakeholders to deliver strategic legal advice, support business growth, and drive legal transformation across a complex international business. The role is based in Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead legal support across the UK and Europe, providing commercially focused advice to senior business leaders.
  • Advise on commercial contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, data privacy and governance matters.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to executive stakeholders on strategic and operational decisions.
  • Drive legal operations excellence, process improvements and the adoption of innovative legal technology, including AI solutions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing legal team while promoting strong governance and risk management.

About You

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 15 PQE, including substantial in-house leadership experience.
  • Proven track record advising senior executives within a multinational organisation.
  • Strong commercial instincts, sound judgement and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions within a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Background in technology, advanced manufacturing, industrial or similar sectors would be advantageous.
