Birchrose Associates is delighted to be representing a highly regarded specialist litigation firm in London, which is seeking an experienced Senior Legal PA to join its team.

Our client is a well-established specialist litigation firm with an excellent reputation and a strong client base. The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal PA to provide dedicated support to a senior Partner, while also supporting other Partners and fee earners when required.

The role is varied and goes beyond traditional PA support, with responsibility for client contact, business development activity and supporting the wider PA team. The successful Senior Legal PA will be organised, proactive and confident managing a busy workload, with the ability to anticipate what is needed and take ownership of tasks. Duties to include:

  • Providing PA support to a senior Partner, including diary management and organising meetings
  • Arranging domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, visas, transfers and itineraries
  • Managing billing, expenses and time recording
  • Managing contacts and liaising directly with clients and external contacts
  • Document production, correspondence and digital dictation
  • Maintaining electronic and hard copy filing
  • Preparing business development materials, including pitches and marketing collateral
  • Coordinating BD events, lunches and meetings and managing follow-up with key contacts
  • Providing occasional personal PA support, including private correspondence
  • Supporting other Partners and fee earners as required
  • Supporting and mentoring a Junior PA
  • Assisting with the wider PA team, including helping to manage workloads and acting as a point of contact for junior colleagues

This Senior Legal PA position is a full-time, permanent, office-based role, working Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a Legal PA, within a law firm
  • Previous experience supporting Litigation or Dispute Resolution teams
  • Excellent diary management and organisational skills
  • Strong document production and digital dictation experience
  • Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and take ownership
  • Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems and applications
