Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary / PA to join our busy Property and Immigration team at Fahri LLP.

This is not a junior or trainee position. Applicants must have at least 3–5 years’ solid conveyancing experience and be able to hit the ground running. We are looking for someone who understands the conveyancing process, is confident working with minimal supervision and can take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and organisation of a busy caseload.

The role will primarily involve residential and commercial property work, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leases, and secured lending, together with administrative and secretarial support on immigration matters.

WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED CONVEYANCING LEGAL SECRETARY / PA

Whetstone, North London (N20)
Full-time | Office-based
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum for an exceptional candidate, depending on experience

Fahri LLP is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary / PA to join our busy Property team.

This role is predominantly residential conveyancing, with some commercial property work and occasional administrative support on immigration matters.

This is not a junior or trainee role. We are looking for someone with at least 3–5 years’ recent conveyancing experience who understands the conveyancing process and can hit the ground running.

The role will include:

  • Sales, purchases, and remortgages
  • Opening files, KYC/AML, and client care
  • Preparing contract packs and Land Registry documents
  • Ordering searches and dealing with InfoTrack
  • Assisting with exchange and completion
  • Completion statements, invoices, and redemption statements
  • SDLT and Land Registry applications
  • Dealing with HMLR requisitions and post-completion work
  • LMS, Lender Exchange, and lender portals
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, agents, and managing agents
  • Proactively progressing matters and chasing outstanding items
  • File management, billing, compliance, and archiving
  • General PA and administrative support

Some commercial conveyancing experience would be advantageous.

Experience with LEAP, InfoTrack, DocuSign, LMS, and Lender Exchange would also be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is organised, accurate, proactive, and confident, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a busy workload with minimal supervision.

This is an office-based position in Whetstone, so candidates should live within a reasonable travelling distance of N20.

Recruitment process: Initial interview and practical skills test, followed by a second interview with the wider team.
