Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our growing leisure team at Cashel Travel. This role is focused on leisure business development, quoting, and account management, supporting our B2B clients with tailored programmes across the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience in leisure groups, special interest groups, and tour series, with a strong understanding of the DMC market, suppliers, and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotes for leisure groups, tours, and special interest programmes.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high-quality client service and regular follow-up.
- Proactively grow business by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and new leads.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure knowledge of availability, trends, and pricing.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support strategic quoting and sales initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the wider leisure team to ensure alignment and consistency of service.
- Provide reports and updates on account activity and business growth opportunities.

Person Specification
Essential skills:
- Extensive experience in the leisure business, ideally within a DMC or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland leisure suppliers, itineraries, and group programmes.
- Experience with leisure groups, special interest groups, and tour series.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to quote and confirm business efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
