Senior Lettings Negotiator
Manchester | £30,000–£35,000 + £50,000 OTE | Hybrid
What if your experience in lettings could be worth more than just the next tenancy you agree?
We're working with a fast-growing technology business that's changing how estate and letting agencies manage one of the most time-consuming parts of the tenancy journey.
They're opening a brand-new Manchester office and looking for ambitious people from the lettings industry to join the founding team.
If you're currently a Senior Lettings Negotiator, Lettings Negotiator, Assistant Manager, Valuer or Lettings Manager, you'll already understand the frustrations:
- Slow referencing.
- Chasing paperwork.
- Tenancies held up waiting for information.
- Hours of admin.
- Processes that haven't really changed for years.
- And costs that quickly add up across a busy branch.
This business is using technology and AI to change that.
Its platform brings together AI-powered referencing, rent protection, insurance and other services, helping agents make the tenancy journey faster and simpler while creating opportunities to generate additional revenue from transactions they're already processing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The business already works with 500+ estate and letting agencies, so you're not selling an unproven concept.
Your lettings experience is the advantage.
You'll be speaking with agency owners, directors and senior decision-makers, using your understanding of the lettings process to identify where their business could save time, reduce administration and improve its commercial return.
You'll take opportunities from first conversation through to demonstration, commercial proposal, negotiation and close, before helping the client get up and running.
This isn't about becoming a generic salesperson.
You already understand the customer. Now you'll learn how to sell the solution.
We're looking for people who:
- Have experience in lettings or residential property
- Understand the pressures of running a busy lettings operation
- Are commercially minded and naturally curious about how businesses work
- Are confident speaking with landlords, applicants and senior stakeholders
- Enjoy targets, negotiation and winning business
- Are comfortable picking up the phone and having commercial conversations
- Want to develop their career beyond traditional branch-based lettings
