Role Description
This full-time, on-site Senior Lettings Negotiator role is based in the Southampton office. The Senior Lettings Negotiator will handle day-to-day lettings activities, including:

- Registering and qualifying applicants
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Providing detailed feedback to landlords

The role involves:
- Valuing rental properties
- Advising landlords on market conditions and pricing
- Negotiating tenancy terms to secure successful lets
The individual will manage tenancy progression from offer to move-in, including:
- Referencing
- Documentation
- Coordination with landlords and tenants
Responsibilities also include:
- Maintaining accurate records
- Achieving lettings targets
- Supporting junior team members
- Promoting Kings Estates’ standards of professional customer service
Qualifications
- Strong lettings and property negotiation skills, with experience in residential rentals and the local Southampton market.
- Proficiency in client relationship management, including advising landlords and tenants and delivering high levels of customer care.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple properties, viewings, and negotiations efficiently.
- Competence with property management and CRM software, email, and standard office applications.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, including confident telephone manner and in-person presentation.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lettings and sales targets in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues on-site, support team objectives, and mentor less experienced negotiators.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for viewings and landlord appointments.
- Previous experience as a Lettings Negotiator or Senior Lettings Negotiator; ARLA or similar professional qualification is an advantage.
