Senior Lettings Negotiator

Senior Lettings Consultant – Roath, Cardiff

Brand: Moginie James | Location: Roath Salary: Up to £32,000 OTE | Hours: Mon–Fri 08:45–17:30, every other Sat 09:00–13:00

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

As Senior Lettings Consultant, you’ll play a crucial role in growing the property register by winning new business, supporting the Branch Manager to maximise profits, and delivering a first-class client experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Sales-driven: Identify and secure new letting opportunities while registering new applicants
  • Tenancy management: Book and conduct property viewings, negotiate and finalise tenancy agreements
  • Customer-facing roles: Provide exceptional service—both over the phone and face-to-face—to clients and customers
  • Team collaboration: Support Branch Managers where required and help achieve personal and branch targets
  • Reputation management: Represent the company in a professional, positive manner internally and externally
  • Relationship-building: Cultivate strong internal (colleagues) and external (clients) connections

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Residential Lettings Consultant in a similar branch environment
  • Strong sales ability and a proven track record of achieving targets
  • Exceptional customer service skills—passion for delivering a tailored, outstanding experience
  • Excellent telephone manners, proactive attitude, and resilience under pressure
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to close deployments successfully
  • Self-starter mentality, tenacity to succeed, and adaptability to change
  • Full UK driving licence (company car available)
  • Technical proficiency: Experienced in property database/CRM systems and three-generation energy-performance certification (EPC) regulations
