Senior Desktop Liability Claims Handler
Are you an experienced Liability Claims professional looking for a predominantly remote opportunity with a well-established claims organisation?
We are recruiting Senior Desktop Liability Adjusters / Liability Claims Handlers to manage EL/PL injury and/or Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD) claims.
This is a remote UK-based position with ad hoc office visits, offering the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working within an experienced technical team.
What you will do:
- Manage EL/PL injury and/or TPPD claims through to settlement
- Investigate policy coverage and legal liability
- Review evidence and provide clear liability decisions
- Negotiate settlements within agreed authority
- Identify potential fraud indicators
- Liaise with policyholders, third parties, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders
- Manage litigation and referrals where appropriate
- Maintain accurate claim records and deliver excellent customer service

What we’re looking for:
- Previous Liability Claims handling experience
- Good knowledge of EL/PL, TPPD and liability principles
- Understanding of insurance law and policy wording
- Strong investigation and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage your own caseload effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Insurance qualifications are desirable but not essential
