Senior Linux Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead - 4 days onsite

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Linux Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced technology for satellite communications and high-performance digital systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys working across Linux, C/C++, embedded systems and hardware/software integration, while mentoring a small team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Linux user-space applications and system services
  • Develop C/C++ software for system configuration, monitoring and diagnostics
  • Design APIs and services for hardware control and telemetry
  • Drive software architecture and technical direction
  • Conduct code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Mentor and support a team of 3–4 embedded software engineers
  • Collaborate closely with platform and hardware engineering teams
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of Linux software development experience
  • 3–4 years of formal or informal technical leadership
  • Strong C/C++ development experience on Linux user-space
  • Solid knowledge of POSIX APIs, sockets and multi-threading
  • Experience developing Linux system services or applications
  • Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD
  • Python or scripting experience for automation and testing
