Senior Linux Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead - 4 days onsite
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Linux Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced technology for satellite communications and high-performance digital systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys working across Linux, C/C++, embedded systems and hardware/software integration, while mentoring a small team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of Linux user-space applications and system services
- Develop C/C++ software for system configuration, monitoring and diagnostics
- Design APIs and services for hardware control and telemetry
- Drive software architecture and technical direction
- Conduct code reviews and technical design discussions
- Mentor and support a team of 3–4 embedded software engineers
- Collaborate closely with platform and hardware engineering teams
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of Linux software development experience
- 3–4 years of formal or informal technical leadership
- Strong C/C++ development experience on Linux user-space
- Solid knowledge of POSIX APIs, sockets and multi-threading
- Experience developing Linux system services or applications
- Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD
- Python or scripting experience for automation and testing
