Job Title: Loads Engineer

We are looking for an experienced loads engineer to lead the loads and aeroelastic analysis for the S-1.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development of aircraft design loads across the full flight and ground envelope, including manoeuvre, gust, landing, proprotor, control system, and emergency load cases.
  • Own the aircraft loads methodology, defining the loads policy, analysis approach, and certification strategy for the S-1 programme.
  • Lead aeroelastic analyses, including static and dynamic aeroelasticity, flutter, structural dynamics, and development of validated loads models.
  • Define critical load cases and load envelopes, providing validated inputs to structural design and stress teams for sizing, testing, and certification.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who You Are:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Significant experience in aircraft loads and aeroelasticity, with a strong understanding of flight mechanics, structural dynamics, aeroelasticity, and aircraft structural analysis.
  • Proven experience developing aircraft loads throughout the design lifecycle, ideally including experience supporting or leading certification programmes under EASA, FAA, or equivalent regulations.
  • Experience with rotorcraft, tiltrotor, or VTOL aircraft is highly desirable, particularly an understanding of rotor-induced loads, coupled flight dynamics, and associated certification considerations.
  • Proficient with industry-standard analysis tools (e.g., Nastran, aeroelastic solvers) and engineering scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
