Position Overview

We are looking for a versatile Senior Localization Producer with strong experience in MT/LLM-enabled workflows to join our International Production Team, working from either our London or Barcelona offices.

As part of our global team spanning multiple studio locations, you will:

  • Champion localization and culturalization for assigned games and central projects.
  • Drive our global localization strategies, with a focus on MT and LLM integrations.
  • Act as a thought leader for AI-enabled workflows, solving complex problems and maintaining scalability.
  • Be a key contributor to our MT & AI localization initiatives, shaping roadmaps, integrating with external partners, and innovating workflows.
  • Promote internationalization best practices, ensuring a global mindset from the start.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-team Initiatives, MT/AI Integrations

  • Drive AI Integration: Shape the roadmap for MT & AI localization initiatives, coordinating with external partners and internal teams for integration, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Innovate Workflows: Proactively identify opportunities for MT, LLM-based tools, and automation to improve localization quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Define Global Standards: Lead initiatives to establish, track, and uphold Localization/Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) standards and KPIs. Stay updated on industry trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Champion Culturalization: Collaborate with teams to embed internationalization and culturalization early in game development.

Assigned Games & Central Projects

  • Partner with Game Teams: Manage localization pipelines, internationalization best practices, schedules, language requirements, project planning, translation, and cross-localization quality assessment (LQA).
  • Manage Budgets: Define, allocate, and track localization budgets at project level. Identify cost-saving opportunities and escalate spending trends for mitigation strategies.
  • Drive LQA Strategy & Bug Resolution: Fully own the resolution of localization-related bugs and cross-functionally track linguistic and internationalization issues to ensure high-priority fixes.
  • Optimize Resources: Consolidate localization materials to streamline workflows and aid vendor pre-planning while balancing scope, complexity, and dependencies.
  • Execute Daily Releases: Oversee international game releases, coordinating with Game Studios, Functional QA, Mobile Game Tech, Community, Publishing, and Marketing teams.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Build Trust: Develop and maintain strong relationships with game teams, studio leadership, partners, and translation vendors to gain buy-in and influence outcomes.
  • Manage External Partners: Refine vendor processes, set KPIs, and monitor quality for inbound and outbound deliverables.
  • Mentor & Guide: Train and mentor junior producers, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for teams across internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Drive Market Insights: Perform market analysis to guide language support and culturalization strategies, capturing and sharing learnings across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Hands-on enthusiasm: A passion for mobile gaming is mandatory!
  • Experience (5+ years):
    • In localization production (project, programme, or producer) within a mobile/F2P studio/publisher.
  • Tech-forward mindset:
    • Proven AI and MT integration experience (e.g., LLMs, automation) with a deep understanding of localization workflows.
  • Domain expertise: Extensive knowledge of globalization including localization, internationalization, Localization Quality Assurance (LQA), and culturalization.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and competing priorities while remaining highly autonomous and solutions-focused.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to challenge the status quo, adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences, and collaborate across global teams.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong data-driven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to extract insights from complex challenges.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Expert-level Localization Text CMS & Text Management System (TMS) knowledge.
    • Bug-tracking software and spreadsheet/presentation tool mastery.
