Job Summary:
Working as part of a team, responsible for warehouse administrative activities within the Distribution Centre. You will provide the administrative function within the warehouse and interface between Customer Care and Transportation Carriers to ensure deliveries are released and dispatched to both domestic and export customers. The successful candidate is expected to have experience in Warehouse Management Processes.
Please note that this position is to cover the 2pm-10pm shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Releasing Orders to the Warehouse
- Preparing shipping Documentation such as pods, invoices, coo’s etc.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
- Compliant with regulations and quality standards.
- Dealing with Customer Care regarding priorities and answering queries
- Communicating and collaborating with other departments to optimize logistics processes.
- Warehouse Administration support
- Preparing Warehouse reports for day-to-day operations.
- Provide reports (KPI’s).
- Adherence to Company and legislative Health and Safety requirements in all work processes.
- Engaging and adopting HOS principles (Lean and Six Sigma)
- Any other reasonable requirements as determined by the Supervisor in accordance with the level of responsibility of the role.

Person Specification:
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience of working in a process driven warehouse environment.
- A Team Worker, self-motivated, proactive, and driven.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels using a variety of methods / tools.
