Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced logistics leader to join our Land Recovery business as a Senior Logistics Manager, based at our Stoke office. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a national logistics operation that runs 24/7 across the UK.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team onsite, you'll lead the safe, compliant and efficient movement of heavy plant and aggregates, overseeing our in-house fleet of HGVs and a team of planners, compliance specialists and operational colleagues. This is far more than a traditional Transport Manager role, you'll have the opportunity to shape culture, influence operational performance and build a mindset of ownership across your team while ensuring the business continues to deliver exceptional standards of compliance and customer service.

If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and want to lead a critical business function with genuine autonomy, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the day-to-day logistics operation, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant movement of materials and equipment across a nationwide 24/7 operation.
  • Act as the named holder of the company's Operator Licence, maintaining full compliance with all DVSA and Operator Licence undertakings and ensuring best practice across transport operations.
  • Lead, develop and support a team of planners, compliance and operational colleagues, creating a positive culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee fleet performance, driver compliance, tachograph and working time regulations, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of safety and legal compliance.
