Senior M365 Security & Modern Workplace Consultant
📍 Stockton-on-Tees | Hybrid Working 💰 Up to £50,000 per annum
Help SMEs build secure, modern workplaces powered by Microsoft 365. At Circle Cloud, we help ambitious SMEs across the UK modernise the way they work through Microsoft 365, cyber security and AI.
We're looking for a Senior M365 Security & Modern Workplace Consultant to lead customer onboarding projects, implement Microsoft security best practice and help shape the future of our managed services offering.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys delivering projects, building trusted customer relationships and taking ownership of secure Microsoft 365 environments from day one.
You'll be responsible for leading Microsoft 365 onboarding and security projects, helping customers adopt technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender whilst ensuring they remain secure, compliant and aligned to modern best practice.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading Microsoft 365 onboarding projects from initial kick-off through to completion
- Delivering Microsoft 365 Business Premium security solutions
- Implementing and managing Conditional Access policies
- Deploying and supporting Microsoft Intune environments
- Configuring and maintaining Microsoft Defender security controls
- Supporting identity and access management through Microsoft Entra ID
- Onboarding and securing Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices
- Working directly with customers throughout project delivery
- Supporting service improvements and security standardisation initiatives
- Coordinating and mentoring a junior engineer during project delivery
- Occasionally supporting technical pre-sales and discovery conversations

Essential Skills & Experience
We're looking for somebody with genuine hands-on implementation experience, not just administration experience.
You must have:
- Proven experience leading Microsoft 365 onboarding, migration or implementation projects
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Conditional Access
- Microsoft Defender
- Exchange Online
- Teams
- SharePoint Online
- Experience onboarding and securing endpoint devices
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- A solid infrastructure background including:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Networking fundamentals
Bonus Experience
Whilst not essential, we'd love to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Azure migrations and cloud projects
- Microsoft certifications
- MSP or consultancy environments
- Microsoft Copilot and AI adoption projects
What Success Looks Like
In this role you'll:
- Deliver onboarding projects efficiently and professionally
- Improve customer Microsoft Secure Scores
- Reduce device and identity exposure risks
- Help standardise customer environments across our managed services platform
- Build long-term trusted relationships with customers
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Circle Cloud's security services
